Power of Vulnerability

Fascinating research for our present time and culture about the power of vulnerability.

I see a divine thread in all of this.  Jesus chose to be vulnerable and gave himself away all the way to the cross.  His human vulnerability is what we are most drawn to, yet vulnerability makes most people feel intensely uncomfortable in the present world.

We desperately seek human connection, but many of us feel unworthy of meaningful connection due to insecurities we keep to ourselves.  Many numb these insecurities with addition to drugs, food, TV, etc.

Perhaps this TedX talk by researcher/storyteller Brenè Brown will shed some light on how to unlock the handcuffs that keep us from making human connections.
