A picture is worth a thousand words

Perhaps you saw the picture of the kind-hearted NYPD patrolman who bought a warm pair of boots and socks for a barefoot homeless man on the cold streets of New York City.

An Arizona tourist with a camera caught 25-year-old officer Larry DePrimo in the candid moment doing an act of kindness. 

He explained his actions at a news conference and his encounter is quite inspiring.
